Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun teologi konstruktif tentang hosah melalui pendekatan interdisipliner. Penelitian ini melibatkan pemahaman ilmiah tentang udara, konsep budaya Simalungun tentang hosah, dan teologi Kristen tentang Roh Kudus. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode trialogis dengan dua tahap, yaitu deskriptif-komparatif dan normatif-konstruktif. Tahap pertama menjelaskan konsep udara, hosah, dan Roh Kudus dari sudut pandang ilmiah, budaya, dan teologis. Tahap kedua bertujuan untuk membangun teologi hosah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trialog ini mengkritisi, memperkaya, dan merevisi konsep-konsep tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa udara lebih dari sekadar senyawa gas. Udara merupakan suatu altar sakral kehidupan.

Parulihan Sipayung, Biro Penelitian dan Pengembangan Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS)

Parulihan Sipayung ditahbis sebagai pendeta Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) sejak 2015. Ia melayani sebagai misionaris ke Korea Selatan pada tahun 2016 hingga 2018. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan teologi Strata-1 di STT Abdi Sabda Medan (2012), Master in Theology (2020), dan Doctor of Philosophy (2023) di GIT, Yonsei University, Korea Selatan. Tulisan-tulisannya telah dipublikasi di International Handbook on Ecumenical Diaconia (Regnum/Oxford, 2020), International Journal on Asian Christianity (2023), Indonesian Journal of Theology (2015), dan pelbagai jurnal akademik lainnya. Ia juta telah menerjemahkan dan menyunting beberapa buku. Saat ini ia bekerja di Biro Penelitian dan Pengembangan GKPS dan mengajar paruh waktu di beberapa sekolah tinggi teologi di Sumatra Utara.
