Imago Dei Pascabiologis: Pengunggahan Akal Budi sebagai Keberlanjutan Partisipasi

Abstrak

Artikel ini mengkaji pengunggahan akal budi dalam transhumanisme melalui dialog dengan teologi eskatologi Kristen dan doktrin imago Dei, terutama tentang identitas personal dan kontinuitas eksistensi. Dengan memanfaatkan konsep futurum–adventus serta creatio continua, pengunggahan dipahami sebagai ekspresi partisipasi kreatif manusia dalam dinamika penciptaan yang berkelanjutan, yang senantiasa terbuka terhadap tindakan Allah sebagai pemberi masa depan. Lebih lanjut, melalui pembacaan imago Dei yang bersifat dinamis, artikel ini mengusulkan bahwa entitas pascabiologis menghadirkan keterputusan sekaligus keberlanjutan identitas, sebagai “aku dan bukan-aku” dalam arti eskatologis. Entitas pascabiologis membawa jejak gambar Allah dalam bentuk pola relasi, ingatan, dan ekspresi diri yang berpartisipasi dalam sejarah. Kajian ini mengusulkan pemahaman tentang imago Dei dalam konteks pascabiologis.

Gabriel Hotmartua Pardede, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana

Gabriel Hotmartua Pardede menyelesaikan gelar Sarjana Teologi dari Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) di Pematangsiantar. Saat ini ia sedang menempuh program master di Fakultas Teologi Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana dengan bidang konsentrasi teologi publik.

Frans Best Soma Marpaung, Sekolah Tinggi Teologi HKBP

Frans Best Soma Marpaung adalah pengajar Teologi Sistematika di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi HKBP di Pematangsiantar. Ia meraih gelar Ph.D. dari Yonsei University di Korea Selatan. Ia juga merupakan senior fellow di Spatial Ethnography collaborative network. Selain aktivitas akademiknya, ia melayani sebagai penulis dan trainer di Rihand Creative, sebuah institusi konseling dan pendidikan yang membimbing, mendidik, dan memberdayakan anak-anak, remaja, orang tua, dan grup-grup profesional.
