Editor ~ Seoyoung Kim

Seoyoung Kim, Ph.D., is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. She completed her PhD student under the supervision of Professor Peter Scott at the same university. Her research focuses on a theology of water, addressing the urgent global water crisis. Seoyoung is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea. Currently, she is one of two representatives for South Korea on the World Council of Churches Central Committee and is also a member of the Public Issues sub-committee. She earned her Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, USA; a Master of Divinity (M.Div) and a Bachelor in Theology from Hanshin University in South Korea; and a Complementary Certificate (CC) in Ecumenical Studies from the Bossey Ecumenical Institute in Switzerland. Additionally, she completed an internship at the Christian Conference of Asia, a prominent regional ecumenical organization in Asia.
